New Oven is in
So in my other post about the MC oven and obsolete part….I did not find a part with certainty that would replace the obsolete Thermostat. No luck at the RV show in Dallas finding a vendor with a new oven. On the way home DW found this new in box Greystone that had just been listed on Facebook marketplace.. I made contact and bought it for 200.00, still in the box! It was a little shorter on depth and not quite as long top to bottom as the MC, width was spot on. Got it mounted and there was a good 6” gap opening at the bottom and 1” short in back. I moved the knife holder forward 1”, looks good. Now don’t laugh but I had this small underbody toolbox I was not using. Took measurements and I could make it fit. I cut the bottom of cabinet out, made a platform to support the toolbox and make it a tight fit. Still need to add a little caulk to finish it off. Now we have more storage under stove plus a secure place to lock things up if we want. I’m removing the RKI sticker and I think I’ll paint the latch black… maybe
