Question on a tire
2021 Montana 3763BP. Pics will include current tires. First is a replacement on the rear door side installed in June ‘23. Second pic is original tire since purchase.
Second pic, it looks like a burn/heated area. Should I be concerned? What are y’all’s thoughts?

I’m wondering if your wheel overheated and in turn overheated the tire. Does it look the same on the back side? Brake dragging? Bad bearing? I would be inclined to take the trailer out for a few miles on the highway and check the wheel temp compared to the other wheel.
Infra red temp guns are pretty inexpensive.

Harbor freight has infrared temperature guns for about $25. They are nice to have for lots of temperature readings.

I appreciate that. I cannot really take it on a drive right now. I am at a oil rig gate on a huge ranch in west Texas until end of Oct. I really just wanted to see what yall think is a heat issue. If you are suggesting infrared temp gauges, I am thinking so. That's good enough confirmation for me...
I think I will just replace the tire in the next few days.

You need to find the problem or you probably or may be replacing the tire just to ruin another one.

I would think that if the wheel got hot enough to discolor the tire, and that was my first thought as well, then you should be able to see apparent damage to the axle or brakes. I would remove that wheel and look for blueing on the axle spindle and bearing surfaces and for excessive wear on the brakes. I wouldn’t trust that tire either. I think you are lucky you didn’t have a catastrophic blowout!

Do the older tires on the other side have that same look? If so, then it may just be a matter of discoloration due to aging.

Notice the paint on the wheel doesn’t seem to be damaged. How did the tire get hot and the wheel not get hot enough to discolor the wheel paint?

Totally of the wall, but could it be the tire treatment. Mine did that after having the rig detailed by a traveling detailer in Fla. this past winter. It took several cleanings before the brownish color dissipated.
