Residential frig trips inverter GFI

We have a 2019 3721RL. All has been well until our last trip when we found out that when we disconnected from shore power at home and the 2000 watt inverter took over automatically the GFI would trip after a couple of minutes. Only the frig is running off the inverter during during transport. I did try running the frig connected to an extension cord and it run as it should. I then changed the inverter to a 3000w Rengry inverter and it tripped the breaker. My thought is the problem is from the frig wiring going to the inverter. Not an easy test as I can't pull the frig out because Keystone put the island in the way. Anyone have any similar problems or any ideas ?
