Yea, I looked at the first post and saw it was 1-29-2006. Then I made a big ... WOW ... 16 years has passed. I was 51 years old then (I'm 67 now). I was still living in our house (in town). We still had our first travel trailer (our first RV was a pop-up), It was a Dutchmen and my first Chevy Silverado 3500 dually (gasser). I'd been working at the job I finally retired from for about 5 years, my kids just graduated from high school, my daughter was in A-school in the Navy, my son was in his first year of college.
Sheesh. 16 years later, now living in a completely different house in the country, remodeled 2 houses, the one in town and the one we are living in now, went through 3 more campers and have traveled thousands and thousands and thousands of miles camping with all of them.
My mother passed during this time, we lost 4 dogs (one old age, one cancer, another one cancer, and another one killed by another dog). The two we have now are just over 2 years old.
My oldest grandchild is now 13, the youngest is 4. In 2006, none of them even existed yet.
Wow ... time stand stills for no one.
The moral of my "rant!" Seize every second of life and live it to the fullest while you can. It slips by so fast! And the one thing none of us can never get back .... is time! Love each each, be kind, and don't sweat the small stuff. 100 years from now, none of this will matter anyway!
