Tale of the manufacturer's sticker

I had a local guy clean the roof + wash and wax my RV last month here at the house. He did a good job ($10/lf)...however he waxed thru and rubbed off my manufacturer's sticker and the tire info. Fortunately I had taken a picture of both stickers the day we bought it in Jan 2018...see pics below.

I went to a local print shop, emailed them my original sticker pic and had them print a new sticker on peel-n-stick 3M Scotch film.
It was $40. When I opened the envelope there were two stickers...so I have one extra for future use I guess. No idea if Keystone will send a new one. I should have had them print my tire sticker also, and I may still do that. I don't care about the California "this stuff will kill you" sticker.

I cleaned off the wax with Goo Gone and wiped it down with rubbing alcohol and stuck the new sticker. Be sure you have pictures of your sticker!

We also take a picture of them when we first buy. After that if they are removed we have no use for them.

Took pictures of our stickers as well when first purchased. Sort of a digital memento if you please. I had no idea the photos might well prove useful later on down the line, as I wasn't think that far ahead. Guess speaking for myself, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.....

I was trying to get the fake mirror sticker off the other day & the paint started coming off with it. Reason I say fake mirror mine turned black when I waxed it.

As far as I’m concerned the tire sticker is pointless. All the information you need about your tires is on the sidewall of the tire.

While cleaning my rig with a deoxidation compound my sticker smudged. As far as I know, this is the only serial number on the Monty. When entering Mexico last winter, the border guard was training a new guy and actually compared the registration document with the serial number on this sticker. Luckily, it was still readable. I guess I should take a pic in case it completely disappears.
