We stayed at Mountain Meadow RV Park http://mountainmeadowrv.com/ in Hungry Horse, MT when we went to Glacier NP. Nice park close to the park entrance and town.

In 2006 we stayed at Tunnel Mountain in Banff. It's a Provincial Park so plan your stay in Canada to determine if an annual pass is cheaper than a night to night. Easy park to get in and out of. Lots are good size. Close to all the attractions around Banff. We did a day trip from there to Lake Louise. You'll love the area. Jim

We've stayed at San-Suz-Ed campground in West Glacier. In fact, we'll probably be staying there again next summer. They are about 2 miles from the west entrance of GNP. On the east side, we've stayed at the KOA at St. Mary and would stay there again. Have fun!

I think I stayed at Hungry Horse also. It was pretty good but nothing fancy. also stayed at the Tunnel Mountain. It was very nice for a Provincial park. Tunnel Mt CG II has full hookups - not sure about CG I.

We stayed at the Lake Louise Provincial CG and then commuted down to Banff. Don't miss Johnston Canyon and the waterfalls. At Jasper, we stayed at Whistler's Provincial Park. Both were great. Also, the firewood is included at Canadian provincial parks. We stayed at Waterton Springs CG the Canadian side of Glacier. At Waterton, no fires allowed and no wifi. Waterton springs had both, for the same price. And great views of Chief Mountain. Plus, it is on your way to the Icefield Parkway.

KOA on the east side was great for us. We took the Red Touring Car tour and they picked us up at the park. Great way to leave the driving to a driver and you get to see all the sights--and it is an open car--blankets were provided and needed in early Sept.

Stayed at Fairmont Hot Springs years ago and communted to lake louise and Baniff. The scenery is unbelievable but a fair distance from the destinations. The park was OK but been long enough that changes may have occurred.
