Almost New Owners Howard and Laura
Hi Folks,
After looking at lots of fifth wheels we chose the High Country 310RE 2017
It offered the most amenities over the others and the wifey loved the kitchen and layout.Retirement is 3 yrs away so will be using it maybe a dozen times a year,Tomorrow we sign and do the walk thru, were a little anxious as during our research we came across all the bad reviews on this trailer, nevertheless were buying it and hope for the best.Im also having a Husky hitch installed by dealer is this a good hitch? And any advise on what to look for during the walk thru?
Thank you for any advice and safe travels to all.

Welcome to the forum. You should follow a PDI list like this: http://www.angelfire.com/trek/buenav...PDI_V113_2.pdf
I found this one on the Keystone forum. There use to be one on this forum and still might be but I couldn't find it. Take your time and follow the list and don't let yourself be rushed.
Enjoy your new rig.

Welcome to the forum! Remember, this is a place for folks to come with issues they may have and folks seldom post how wonderful they think their rig is. With thousands of members on the forum you can get the mistaken idea that major problems are common when they actually aren't. That said look for the issues you've heard about just to make sure and may your new rig bring you many years of wonderful memories.

If you have an RV buddy, take that person with you. Another set of eyes never hurts. I would spend one night at the dealer and operate everything before pulling out.

Congrats on your new rig! We've had some issues, like most RV owners, but we love our Montana 3160. There is so much more good than bad!

Thank you everyone for the input,we picked up our 310 yesterday from RV Corral in Eugene Oregon they did the most thorough walk thru and we felt really at ease driving off the lot.
When we got home we found a couple things needed to be tightened but no biggie it's expected, have tools will travel....lol
We love are Montana and look forward to many memories!
Safe travels everyone.
