Am I raising this or lowering it (photo)

I am getting a scrape on one side of my floor from each hydraulic slide. Am I raising or lowering the slide as it sits on this nut in fig. 2a?

To theoretically raise the slide floor up and away from the main floor, shorten the pusher bolt. You might follow page 6 from Lippert before you crank on the pusher bolt too much ... https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws...cd_0001612.pdf
1/4" adjustment will go a looooong way in moving things. Keep track of how much you moved the bolt as you may have to put it back due to the slide not sealing correctly.

My question is clockwise or counter clockwise to take the weight off of the floor? On 5E.

Is the problem on the side that moves first when activated? This is the side that drops about 1.5 inches at the end of it's travel. The opposite side finishes it's travel after the ram side has settled in (stopped). A scratch appearing on the opposites side from the ram side, may be due to a staple or nail that has worked it's way loose. A flashlight and a paint stirring stick might help you feel under the slide for something sharp. Before adjusting anything, do some more investigating. The non ram side travels in and out, without a drop or raise in the floor as it gets to its outer most travel. Also, check the underside of the slide out floor. Look for signs of chaffing to the Darcor fabric. I wouldn't be so quick to adjust the slide out on a 2020 model without looking first at other more likely causes.

I've spun wrenches all my life, so I thought I had answered your question. To be more specific, counterclockwise. Usually you will have to rock the slide after moving the pusher to get it to settle back onto it. More importantly like firestation has pointed out and I eluded to at the very end of my first reply, I'd look for a loose screw or staple or even the teflon ramp out of place before I tried adjusting the slide. You may end up with the slide not sealing properly either all the way in or all the way out.

Thanks folks, I’ll let you know how it works out now that I have warm weather to work in.

Slide slickers.
One of the very early things we learned after seeing marks on our floor.

https://www.amazon.com/Lippert-13499...lide+sl&sr=8-1
Make your own. Home depot, Lowe's, Menards. $2 each.
https://www.menards.com/main/floorin...4445975391.htm
Cut it in half, cut off the curved part. Now you have two 4"x24".
Place them at each end and in the middle of the slide on the floor.
Even if you do not now have issues with this I strongly recommend using these on any slides to prevent it from happening to you. It's just a matter of time. One staple, nail or piece of grit and it will damage your floor.
Always sweep or vacuum your floor before retracting the slide.
