Proposed Suspenders Day
Many of our past rally attendees knew Ron Marlin. Ron was traveling with us in Alaska when he fell ill and had to fly home. Ron passed away this week. His funeral will be Saturday, September 9th. Ron was very distinctive in his blue jeans, suspenders and big smile. On Saturday, September 9th, I will be wearing suspenders in his honor. I hope many of you will join me in a small tribute to a true friend to the MOC and the Solar community. I know he has helped many over the years.

Ron, Kristi and I are very sad to hear the news of Ron's passing. Our hearts go out to Rhonda and family. We wish them the best.
He will always be known for his suspenders and a big smile.

So sad to hear that. Our prayers are with Rhonda and the family. Ron was always part of the "Parking Team" among other things and he will be missed. Suspenders and a smile for Ron will be done. Morning coffee will not be the same.

Ron, Sandy and I are also sad of Rons passing, Our thought and prayer go out to Rhonda and there family. Ron will be missed, he has help me out in the past also.
I will remember him on the 9th also.

We too are sorry to hear about Ron. He was always a delight to be around. We will miss his big smile and willingness to do anything to help.
I will buy a pair of suspenders just to wear them on Sep. 9th in his honor.

We were so sad to hear about Ron. Our condolences to Rhonda and family. Ron and Rhonda loved to attend the Quartzsite rallies and it was a pleasure to be around them.
We received this notice: "There will be a celebration of life service on September 9th at noon in Bryant Arkansas. We have asked in lieu of flowers to send cards with happy memories of Ron. The service will be at Pinecrest funeral home and cemetery."

I met Ron and Rhonda last year in Delores and again at the National rally. Ron made an impression on me of such a kind-hearted man with an easy smile and twinkle in his eyes. I think it’s a great gesture and will definitely be wearing suspenders on the 9th in Goshen.

I'll go suspender shopping for Jerry. Ron will be missed. He was always smiling and willing to help. Rhonda will also be missed at the rally and many of us will be thinking of her in this time of mourning.

what a great idea to celebrate his life. I will also don jeans and tennis shoes in his remembrance.
MaryLee and I met Ron and Rhonda at the Coeur d’Alene rally , which was our first one. I was so impressed with how graciously they opened up their “solar flex” for
tours. A great couple! We were happy to meet them again at quartsite.
Our condolences to Ronda on his passing. ♥️
