Heat/ac

Just was reseating the temp in living room. Notice while taking through the thermostat I seen heat electric heat gas. Guessing that means I have a heat pump. That I can pick gas or electric for my heat when needed.

Dealer never said anything about a heat pump.

Yes. The living room AC unit is a heat pump. Good down to about 40⁰F (outside temp).
Make sure the thermostat FAN is in AUTO mode for both the furnace and heat pump to function correctly.
Go ahead and test them out.

BTW, you will see the same thing on your bedroom thermostat, but, that one is only an AC unit. No Heat pump or furnace function.
