Myrtle Beach state Parks
Have any of you guys been to any of the Sate Parks in Myrtle Beach, SC lately?
As I recall the Myrtle Beach SP has low branches at entry. Does anyone know if my '06 Mountaineer (12'9") will fit in there?
Is the Huntington Beach SP any different?
Thanks,
Jim

We drove through Huntington beach sp camping area and picked out sites we would like if in the area again. Did not see any tree limb problems. They were very nice and let us in to look. We were without montana so it was easer than looking with it. Dan

Thanks for the message Dan. Works for us.
Your snow picture reminds me too much of my bay window sometimes.

Jim, we stayed at Pirate Land CG beside Myrtle Beach State Park and drove thru the park to check it out. Looked real neat and a good place to stay. If you make reservations, request a site close to the ocean, you will love listening to the waves at night. Good luck and ENJOY!

Huntinton has all hook-ups on selected sites. Just in case you don't know: You have to use their reservation system and can not just drive up and get a site. Dan

We recently stayed at Myrtle Beach S/P and enjoyed it very much. Had no problems with low-hanging trees. Our site had water & electric only. I don't think any have sewer hookups, but don't know for sure. Nice beach within easy walking distance.

we drove way down one of the roads and had to back all the way out!!!! what a pain, and wouldn't you know it was around bends and turns! Never again!!!

Billy Ray we have been at both as well usually at pirateland than Lakewood. But last year we stayed on week end at Myrtle Beach Travel park it was nice, big spaces easy to get in and out of all pull thrus, nice. What we like best was no golf carts, at Pirateland they have problems with so amny kids flying on golf carts not watching little kids playing adn all hours of the night as well.
