Maxxair fan
Just wanted to give a shout out to MaxxAir for their support and help. My kitchen vent fan stopped opening over New Years and I called the support line. He sent me a part right out - NO CHARGE-
Now, he could have charged me or sent me to a dealer but they took care of it on the spot.
I am happy to give props to outstanding customer service and that is what I got.
Mark

That's nice. They helped me but had to pay for the circuit board and install. My HC was a 2014 so may have been year.

The only problem, they know they have a crap operating gear box, so rather than fix the root problem they just send out new gear boxes it you contact them. We have three MaxxAir fans and the gear box has been changed on all and several at least twice and that's in three years of use.

Our rig is a mid yr 2016 so maybe close enough 🤷*♂️
The install was easy. Hot and ground 12V and everything else plugged in. Turned out to be the lift motor, but they sent both.

I have seen several folks that have been sent new operator gear boxes - my luck was that they charged me twenty or so bucks. Very tempted to put a couple Fantastic Fans in instead if it happens again - but of course they were sold and may not be as good now
