Aerospace 303 Protectant
The website for Aerospace 303 Protectant claims it is great stuff for treating RV exteriors(instead of wax) and slide gaskets and it will not damage the decals.(like wax does) In answering my E-mail inquiring about it a Keystone rep claimed they had no knowledge of the product, therefore they could not recommend it. I'm curious about whether any of you have used this product and how do you feel about the results. Thanks.

This material has been around for several years. We used it on our previous motorhomes for several years. We thought it worked well. It is not inexpensive. I believe Camping World sells it in variour sizes. We usually bought it at our local RV dealers. We used it on units with full body paint and also those with decals. Never had any trouble with it on decals. I really am surprised that Keystone has know knowledge of the stuff.

Used 303 on seals and tires for years now. Never used it for wax.

I am a firm believer in this stuff...been using it for about 3 years now but use it for what it's intended, UV protection. I use it on all the slide gaskets, on the tires, and on various other assorted plastic parts that can loose color due to exposure to the sun. I tried it on my truck hood once. Waxed one side with Nu Finish and treated the other side with 303. Both looked good after application but the Nu Finish side provided lasting protection long after the 303 wore off.

The decal shop that I had my truck decals made and installed recommended 303 OR Protectall to cover the entire rig. Personally I use Protectall on truck and trailer and it works great, not a wax, mind you, but a protective coating. Sort of like the old Ming finish, Just sorta like it, not exactly. Don't need a chemical engineer on my back. lol

I also use 303 on my decals, but I do notice that it washes off very quickly. And when you live in the great Rainy Pacific Northwest thats not good.

Fantastic Fans gave me a few packets of the 303 to use on my gasket for the fan since it kept sticking closed. I put it on but did not clean the gasket first with alcohol and it stuck again so I have to use the alcohol on the gasket and cover yet this spring and see if that helps. If not I'llneed a new gasket which they send you free! I have used their products on the windows and it works great to keep off the rain and keeps the windshield wipers softer and to do their job better. I have not used it on the decals or the Monte itself. At one time you could send them so much $$ and they would send you a sample box of their products. That's how I got introduced to them and really like their products. I order from them direct.

We used 303 on our boat for 13 years and not a crack anywhere on the interior...When we bought RV we used as entire body cover over wax and used on roof as well. When we bought Montana with rubber roof it became a standard for roof, fan covers, vents and seals. We started using on body as a good SPF protection ( it is rated 45) then switched to Meguirs wax because it lasts longer. We will still use 303 once a year on body as a SPF, roof every wash and great for seals etc. We bought ours a Quartzsite for 45$ a gallon. Use it with confidence, it will not hurt decals.

I use Protectall...it's one of the very few products you can use on EVERYTHING...fiberglass, plastic, vinyl, rubber, chrome, aluminum even glass.

I have used Protect All on my 2005 since it was new and decals are in great shape. Use it all over the Monty except the roof,.
