Had brakes done last summer by Performance Trailer Braking. Parts were $3200 and labor $1100. Included upgrade to Timken bearings. PTB is out of OK but they have installers all around the country. Mine was done in UT.

Check out the Morryde website. Or google morryde cost. There is a price list to get you close on what you want. 2 axle 7k IS is $7499 with disc brakes. .
The 8k axles are $7999 with disc brakes and Timkin bearings. . Plus tax of course. I needed a ‘Cam’ box added to make my truck communicate with the new hydraulic system. That was only a few hundred bucks extra installed.

I'll second Performance Trailer Braking. This my second 5th wheel with their product installed and recommend them heartily. They'll come to you for the installation.

My 22 3781RL has the Dexter Gladiator 7K lb axles (50% thicker tube axle) and 4K lb springs. I did contact Dexter and ask them if the 7K lb axle was rated higher since it has a thicker wall. They said no. With the 7K lb gladiator axles, 4K lb springs and the load range G tires there is 16000 lbs of spring and tire load capacity. I have 11900 lbs on my axles and 3800 lbs on my hitch with a total of 15700 lbs. Check your springs and tires. The 8K lb axles are 3.5-inch tube vice 3 inch on the 7K lb axles and use the same bearings. I also have the disc brakes. Great upgrade. It stops amazing. My last camper with the drum brakes did great.

Southwest Wheel in San Antonio is not associated with any other location by that name except for Corpus Christi. Their only service department that could install new axles/disc brakes is on Gembler Road in San Antonio. Their other branch in San Antonio on IH35 and their branch in Corpus is sales only AFAIK.
BTW when we decided to add the Lippert Level Up to our trailer many years ago I was stuck with going to the DFW area, spending at least one night, and then dragging it back home. SW Wheel is a Lippert dealer and David Elam (the owner) agreed to install it for me, even though his crew was going to be on a learning curve. Extremely clean installation and, after the axle/wheel/disc brake upgrade definitely the best upgrade we have ever done to our 2007 3400RL. Southwest Wheel has the absolute best customer service I have ever dealt with in my 71 years. Just my $.02.
