GE ice maker

We recently bought a Montana HC 377FL with a GE residential refrigerator. We have not yet gotten the ice maker to work We turned the valve on under sink and the ice maker is on. Any ideas? We hear it cycling but it is not getting water.

Thank you!

Many have found a second valve in the back of the cupboard next to the Fridge. If you don't find it, maybe someone with the same model will pop in.

Thank you! I have checked in the cabinets for an additional valve or switch but no luck (other than under the sink). The fridge is in the slide so not sure if it could be outside or not.

If you look under the slide you will see a white water hose along with or near the electic wiring that extends with the slide. This hose connects to a fitting in the floor expect it goes up behind your fireplace or kitchen cabinet. Wherever this is there will be a blue pex tube water line running near floor by base of wall toward refrigerator. There will be a valve on this line then a threaded line from it to the ice maker.
The photo shows mine inside cabinet next to Refrig. Sorry photo posted on its side.

Thank you Pathfinder!! After going under the slide and tracing the lines I noticed a black box next to refrigerator under dining room table chair. Took out the screws and there was another valve!

So Montana is using GE refers rather than Samsung in the latest models? I wonder if the GE has the same ass-backwards ICE indicator light and is the button still hidden under the panel?

JULIELM, That is great to hear you were able to trace it down. I admit what you describe is a surprise and not what I have witnessed. Sounds like tracing the line was the only way you would find it without somebody with same unit being able.to tell you where it was.
Post a photo so someone else will be able to find theirs.

Yep .. had the same issue and found the same valve a few months ago. Weird they don't turn them on before you pick it up.

Good dealers do. Mine even had a full container of ice made for us.
