HVAC Thermostat replacement

We have a 2019 Montana High Country HM331RL.
The thermostat is a blue led background that is very difficult to read especially if your short people like my wife and I. Has anyone replaced with an easier to read / better thermostat? Or lowered it on the wall?

Its proprietary. Not a normal thermostat. Maybe loosen the screws and shim it to a better viewing angle?

While you are at it remove it completely except for wiring because it is likely that the hole in the wall for the wiring is MUCH too large allowing drafts which will affect thermostat operation. Use duct tape, etc to cover all the hole not needed for small wires and then reinstall thermostat. This was needed on all 3 Montana fivers we have owned.
