DHall - what is the year and model of your RV?
It helps get the best answers when you provide that information with every post or question on the forum.

I watched a couple of youtube sales videos on your unit to see if I could see something like that on a wall somewhere - and that thing does not seem to be a OEM/stock item. Maybe it is something added by the previous owner.
Looking at the floor plan below - where is that item mounted in your RV? Bedroom? Living Room? Bathroom?

Could it be a wall charger for a cordless vacuum, like a Dyson.

OK. So on the back of it. It has the 12 vt green and white wire that comes into.
Then it has 2 coaxial wires that come into it. So not a vacuum adapter.
I'll get it off tmrw and take a picture of the back side. But there is no name or numbers to reference

With all those pins on the connector it has to be some kind of entertainment do hicky. You can see the wedge shape, something wall hung slides onto it. Get a pic or the rear.

Have no idea. But with power plus coax cables and PC card edge connector pins it is pretty obviously a mount for some type of electronic device. The angled sides indicate a box of some type slides down from the top, plugs onto the card edge connector pins, and is held in place by the two tabs at the bottom. Do thermostats mount like that?

A thermostat wouldn't have coax cables.

Didn’t think so. But with thermostats getting more high tech, I didn’t know.

Something to do with monitored security, smoke detection, CO, etc.?
Where to those cables go?

Is the hole in the wall above a door? I still can't figure out where this thing was mounted. Maybe the mount location might provide a clue to its previous function put there by the previous owner. It is not a Keystone item.
Are you trying to figure out how you might use the wiring for something? or are you going to cut the wires and mount a picture of the Tetons to cover up the hole?

The hole is above the door to the bathroom to the right. I have no idea why the picture shows up upside down.

Those two large connectors almost look like ethernet connectors. This could have been a data station for connecting computers.

Have you looked into the space behind the basement bulkhead wall to see if you can find those wires? The bulkhead wall will have maybe 4 screws holding in place...easy to remove the wall. The guy could have dropped those wires straight down into the cavity behind the bulkhead and mounted something else in the basement.

Posting pictures on the MOC isn't too difficult once you know the process. Lots of members do just that. Be sure to take the photo in Landscape mode.
Go to https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...ad.php?t=70323 and read posts #8 and #25.
Pictures of the area where this is located from a slight distance will maybe help understand where this is located and how the wiring reached it.
I agree this looks like an add on device like a router. The two coax appear to connect to the edge pins cards on the bottom of the mounting plate. The 12V line makes sense as a modem needs power.
What is confusing is the the Ethernet looking posts. The picture of them is a little out of focus and doesn't show where they are connected. They don't appear in the picture of the device in Post #1.

Here's a hint. The wires connected to the coax are connected by an OSP connector, used for radio equipment. I bet the previous owner had a CB radio and that was the docking station... centrally located in the camper, easy access for the wires.
I bet the 2 coax cables are for the antenna.
OSP Connectors
These connectors feature a snap-on or slide mechanism for mating.
Uses include:
Radio equipment
If you crawl under the floor through your front pass-through storage area (remove back wall), you'll find the other ends are accessible where the previous owner connected them to a CB radio mast.

I'll bet it was some kind of wireless router. Do those coax go to an antenna by any chance? Any markings on the back of the plate?

I’m also thinking those cables are not coax but are jacketed and shielded twisted pair cables, probably have at least two pairs of wires in each.
