What upgrades have you done lately

Well I sware there was a thread like this already but I can't find it. So I'll start one. I ordered a custom Vista shade. I didn't realize the zipper was 5 feet down. But I think I like it.

Yup, that Vista Shade has different drop lengths for the part on the roller. The part that zippers in is always 6' as I recall. I think I bought the 2' drop which is perfect (actually a little long) for my 2012 awning.

We got ours last year. It has been a life saver in places where the afternoon sun comes right at the door. Worth every penney.

We agree that the shade is a must have for those sites with sun exposure. We have the 3’ drop section for the front awning. First year we didn’t do many additions, just tpms, and a negative battery cable disconnect, also closed up most of the openings in the belly. Last year we did the shade, x-factors and disc brakes. So far this year I made covers for the hydraulic ram openings in the frame, I think I finally got all of the openings sealed off.

Hi guys, I’ve made several modifications to our Monty. The latest one was a hack to the Starlink cable. Modified a plug behind the fireplace, had to drill a hole in the slide wall to install the plug for the router. Replaced the worthless wine rack above the microwave with a door. Replaced the brown funky faucet on the Island, with a brushed nickel one. Replaced furniture with new loveseat and couch/hid-a-bed. Moved table to accommodate bigger loveseat (still can use it little tight) added a swing out tv hanger in the basement. I’m sure I’ll find something else

DW wanted to turn the wine rack space into storage.
I pried the trim off the opening in one piece.
Pull/tugged on the wine rack and it came out and went to the kindling pile.
We picked out some pressed metal from Home Depot and i attached to the back of the frame with little screws and clear silicone. Added some hinges to the top. I need to add magnetic catch to keep door closed while driving. I have several magnetic catches in a box in the garage somewhere. I will hunt them down when the weather cools. She keeps paper goods up there.

I went to my dealer where I purchased our Monty. Told them what I wanted and they ordered it from Keystone. Ours is a 2021 model, and in 2022 they changed the wine rack to a spice rack. I just wanted the door, hinges and handle. I think I paid around $125 including shipping. Hope this helps.
Safe travels

2000W inverter died. Installed a 3000w inverter.
This will run the microwave and has the same output as your regular home wall receptacle.
It also has ports to wire it directly to a transfer switch.
That will be my next project when we get home.

The 2000W one had 60vac Hot to ground, neutral to ground and 120vac hot to neutral.

Respect

May not be as sexy as the disc brakes or Goosebox installs, but this one meant a lot to me.....

Jay Merritt - that is a great list.
Is it too late to ask for photos and written “how to” for each item?
