Bike Rack Project

Starting my project on the bike rack and I will be taking the 5er over to the welding shop tomorrow for them to measure things. I talked to him today and when I mentioned adding a bike rack his first word were we will not put a reciever hitch on for you because of the libility as it is not designed to tow anything. I said you are right but I want something else done and he agreed to help me out. So the project is starting. He reminded me that not only he will be liable but as long as the trailer is in use by whoever owns it down the road it will come back to me for installing the reciever if something happens from towing with it. I don't need to meet any of the pin stripe suited guys in a court room. I am amazed at the libility issues now days.
