Light under microwave
We have a GE microwave and the light on the bottom, that shines down on the range, is making the inside of the microwave hot. I mean you can’t even touch the bottom of the microwave inside right above the light when the light is on. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what did you do?

Don't touch it?  It's a GE and I'm sure it's engineered and passed all UL standards. I guess you could change the bulb to an LED.

I'm guessing it's a halogen bulb. Very bright but run very hot.
As mentioned above I would replace it with an led bulb.
