2022 Montana High Country 295RL with 400i SolarFlex + 2x 100Ah DragonFly LifePO4 heated batteries.

Problem: No power to inverted outlets when shore power is disconnected.

Observations:
1. Remote control panel to inverter displayed a mode of PS0 (Inverter disabled).
2. Round power button seemed to do nothing.
3. Unable to go to mode setup by holding down Select + Power button simultaneously.

Solution:
1. Connected to shore power (gen. probably would have worked too) then attempted to go into setup mode.
2. Mode change successful with shore power connected.
3. Set inverter mode to PS1 or PS4, then press and hold Select button until beep.
4. Disconnect shore power
5. Cycle Inverter Disconnect switch

Outcome: Inverters now working.
Fabulous!

Thanks! We are new to RVing and currently boondocking while awaiting building permit to build our new home. When building permit is issued, we will be able to connect to shore power, and I can not wait. We have learned so much in the past 6 weeks of this adventure and have so much more to learn. I had overlooked the files you posted, so the fact that you posted them was so very helpful! Thank you!

CSW2012HX No AC output

Hey all, I have been reading a lot of forums on this issue but was anyone not able to turn on the remote so you could change the mode? My GFCI in my bathroom won’t work (no power to it) and I can’t get my remote to stay on to change modes. When I hold the power button it just reads “r 2.3” and when I release it it turns off. I have the solar 400i package. None of my solar outlets work on shore power (or at all). How do I reset it? I tried the cut off switch but no luck. I don’t have anything plugged into the ignition start though?

The inverter has a circuit breaker on it. A 20 amp red button. Try to reset it.
The remote switch isn't programed to turn the invert on or off. You can program it to function. See attachments. The inverted outlets won't work if the inverter is off. It has a built in transfer switch to pass shore power to the outlets (when it's on)

I see the 20A and it looks like a black button? When I press it, nothing happens and it isn’t “popped” out. Not sure if I need to take it off to check the fuse?

Is the inverter switch in the on position? (it's hiding behind the black hydraulic hose in the photo so hard to see).

Have you checked the circuit breakers on the main breaker box inside the RV? There is an Inverter circuit breaker in the breaker box that you might try to switch check and flip it off and on.

You don't mention the year and model of your unit. My 2022 with SolarFlex 400 has the inverter and MPPT inside the front pass through area and not in the battery compartment / hydraulics area. My remote switch / indicator for the inverter is inside the RV. I know the base SolarFlex 200 has all the solar gear and inverter where yours is.

Your Bathroom GFCI is probably not on the inverted circuit. Does it have a yellow tag that says it's on the inverter?

I have tried cycling the switch from “green on” and off. There is also another setting above that but nothing has helped kick it back on. I also tried cycling the breaker labeled “converter, solar, GFI,”. I have a 2023 Keystone Avalanche 390DS. It has the solar 400i package with 2 dragon fly batteries.

Two more suggestions:
Check for 12 volts DC going into the inverter switch and coming out of the switch going to the inverter. If power is good, check the connection on the inverter and the ground for the inverter.

Disconnect and reconnect the gray data cable from the inverter and the remote switch.

You may have done both of these already.

It's very possible you have a bad inverter, so return to dealer of call Keystone and see if they will ship you a replacement.

I see this is a few weeks old but was browsing for info on the CSW2012 when I saw your post. In your attached picture it looks like the GFI circuit breaker in your panel is offset and maybe tripped. I would reset that breaker if the prob still exists and also look for the gfci reset in your bathroom.

Good luck!

That was my issue, getting the actual inverter to reset. The GFCI in the bathroom is the only one that has a reset but there’s no power going to that either. Unfortunately It still doesn’t work. I just keep my fridge plugged into shore power.

That is interesting. I wonder if the problem is outside of the areas you are investigating. In my Keystone Cougar the circuit that was hand labeled “Solar” is the circuit that provides AC power to the inverter / switch and respectively the yellow stickered inverted outlets. (TV, bedroom etc). The GFI labeled circuit supplies power to the gfi protected AC circuit starting with the outlet in the bathroom. But, that outlet and its downstream protected outlets are not routed thru the inverted loop at all. So if off shore power with the inverter running, that bathroom outlet and many others are not powered …as designed.

So if on shore power and you can’t reset the gfi circuit breaker and the gfci outlet I would suspect a problem in your AC distribution panel. If you can use them on shore power but not off grid, that would be normal unless your inverter is set up to power the entire rig.

Di you reset the braker on the inverter? If you have an inverter that is hardwired with a switch and no built in GFI you have a 20amp breaker on the unit. It's a red button.

I thought it was strange too. I tried numerous things to get it to work but no luck. I can hold down the power button and it will read “r1.23” but once I release the power button it doesn’t stay on. Currently working on an RV mobile tech company to swap it out since keystone agreed to send a new one.
