My neighbor (at home) has a Coleman travel trailer. The water heater is under the kitchen sink counter and it's sealed up. She asked me to help winterize it and the only way to get to the valves was to remove the panel hiding the water heater so we could access the valves (at the water heater).
When finished, I rigged up a couple catches under the cabinet for that partition so it could be hooked back in place and held there so cleaning and laundry items under the sink would not hit the water heater.
Now, she has a very easy removable panel under the kitchen sink to access the water heater so she can flip the valves to winterize and unwinterized.
Simply remove the panel that's hiding the water heater and find a creative way to reinstall it for easy removal for the next time. That panel is held on with staples. Simply wedge the panel off a little bit at a time, work your way around it and once off, remove all the staples.
Good luck!
