Do you remember???

For the diesel owners.

What goes around comes around....

Back on 2003 when I bought my first diesel gasoline prices were 20 to 30 cents a gallon higher. That only lasted until early 2004 when diesel prices took one HEdouble hockey sticks of a jump. Well the worm has turned. Now I realize overall the prices are higher but at least diesel is once again cheaper than gasoline.

BUT, this is at only a few Hess stations, 2 of which are within a mile of our cg. Most every other station in the area the gas prices are the same but diesel is as high as 2.74 to 2.89. Shell and Chevron are the worst. Even the Flying J is 2.65

That's a good sign and I hope it spreads throughout the nation. Here in Moab, UT, diesel is higher than premium gasoline and 20 cents higher than regular unleaded gasoline. 2.739 for diesel at the cheapest station. Two days ago it was 2.579.

I remember back in the early months of 2003 when diesel was .98 cents a gallon. I used be able to fill the truck up around $27.00 and run 450-550 miles. Now days the same tank runs me $58-$65 a fill. Oh the good old days... =)

Here in CO diesel is just cheaper than premium but the gap is closing so maybe that's a good sign.

Here in Alabama most diesel is more costly than regular gass. When I bought my first diesel it costs 20 to 30 cents cheaper than gas; just less than a dollar per gallon. In about 60 days, diesel started moving up and in just a couple of months was more than regular and has been then since.

Here near Philadelphia diesel is about $2.79 average.Kind of sad when you hand the teller 3 20 dolaar bills and it doesn`t fill the tank.

Are you folks glad you don't live in California? The Diesel price just went from $2.95 to $3.05 a gallon. It's more expensive than hi-test! The trend doesn't look good. It's time to go north and east.
