Theater seating

We need to move our theater seating so we can recover them. They seem to be attached to each other. How difficult is it to unattach and reattach them?

As you face them,
Lift the left seat, tilt forward towards you and lift the right side.
It will separate from the center.
Repeat on the center piece.
It will separate from the right seat.
Next,
Roll the seat forward. Lift the flap up on the back.
You will find two handles on each side under the flap.
Pull the handles towards each other. They will release the seat back. Slide it up and off the seat.
Search YouTube. Great how to videos.

What Daryles said above, provided they are not screwed to the floor. Mine was originally screwed to the floor. I think it was just enough to keep them from moving from the factory to the dealership. Mine broke out of the floor, they were miserably small screws, screwed into the Styrofoam floor. Because our is a front living room, I ended up crawling under the dead space behind the front pass through back wall, drilled holes through the floor and bolted the seas through the floor. The nuts to the bolts are actually under the floor. Those seats will never move, unless I unbolt them from under the floor.

So, check yours carefully and make sure it's not screwed into the floor. The screws would be in part of the frame that actually rests on the floor. Once the entire chair assembly (both seats) move, then do as Daryles said, they hook together in the middle.
