Bedroom Slide Won't Extend

We have a 2016 Montana fifth wheel, model 3661 RL. The bedroom slide, which operates electrically, will not extend. It goes out about 1 in and seems to get hung up on something. Any suggestions?

Which type of slide system does your camper have: Rack and Pinion, Cable, Schwintech? Something else. Each one has it's own problems and solutions.

His bedroom slide is a Schwintek. The other 4 are hydraulic.

I had the same problem, it turned out to be the bed frame had come apart and was causing the slide to jam. It would open about and inch or two the stop. So raise the mattress and check there.

After watching the video, and as Mikendebbie said, we have a Schwintech system on the bedroom slide. Also, per the suggestion of Jimbo0247, we are going to remove everything from under the bed and see if we can see something jammed.

We were on some pretty rough roads yesterday. Is it possible the slide shifted and crooked? If so, is there a way to fix that?

We also had a similar problem in our Schwintek motor had become unseated. You could double check that and see if the motor is fully seated. You will have to get a screwdriver move the interior rubber trim if that’s even possible.
