Slide denting floor-after market fix?

2019 Montana 3121 RL here. Our bedroom slide leaves a significant dent (maybe 1/4" deep) in the floor when the slide is in and we're traveling. So far the flooring isn't torn, but it's worrisome. It's done this since we bought it (new). I've been cushioning the slide by letting it ride on top of a throw rug, but am looking for a more effective fix. I've seen RV carpet "skis" (Recpro) and RV carpet protection slide out "slickers" (Lippert). I wonder if any of you have used this kind of device and can provide a review. I'd prefer something we can just put down when we retract the slide, not something we'd permanently glue or nail down (I trip enough on my own without external help!) Thanks!

I am fairly sure your bedroom slide has wheels and there have been issues with them. A Search for something like "bedroom slide wheels" (or dents) should uncover previous discussions. I am sure another 312n owner will be along to help.

Our 2016 Montana has carpet. While we figured out how to permanently fix the problem, we got some furniture pads from walmart. The kind that allows large furniture to slide and move.

Other than getting rid of the dent in floor, the fix seems rather simple. I just went and confirmed that our bed rollers are actually mounted to the floor in lieu of the bed frame. .For reference, in the photo the bedroom slide is fully extended

Until you do that post # 11 same thread. Make your own Slide Slickers. Lift the bed and Put them under the rollers.

I purchased 4 pieces of vinyl cove floor molding to put under our living slide rollers. Last trip out the slide tore up a piece about the size of a paperback page…..

We have a 2019 3121rl (legacy) as well.

We have the same year and model, and had the same issue. I added wheels that attach to the bottom of the bed frame. If you follow the link above and dig down through all the posts, there is a nice description and pictures of how to modify the bed frame to allow the wheels to be attached.

Sleds

Two of my slideouts tore my flooring. The repairs were covered under warranty, but my service manager suggested I purchase sleds. I did so and found that they work very well.

I don't think it would be possible for the slide out floor to contact floor is the slideout is on a sled.

I have a 2019 and I was getting a deep roller mark when the bedroom slides was in. I purchased these plastic channels, that the roller rides on top of when closing your slide. My roller marks have pretty much disappeared. Cut off the small plastic tabs on the bottom and they work perfect. I purchased the Lippert ones.
