National Rally Parking team

I will be there on the morning of the 6th. I have never turned in a size for a vest. Need a 4x if they have one. Yes I'm a big guy. I'm bringing my own golf cart.

Another kumbaya moment. The brother(sister)hood of the "Parking Team". We will have a few carts to help us out provided by the MOC. I'm hoping to double up people on each run. Fred, you should be covered one way or the other. Dennis, I may have some leftover reflective tape we used on the horse trailer if you want me to bring that. I'm not sure how it sticks to t-shirts but it's like super glue on bare skin.

That's probably a good idea. I don't remember a lot of full figured vests from last year. Remember, "you can take the person from reflecting on the tape but you can't take the reflecting tape off the person". (Mr. Scotch of tape fame)

Any idea when site assignments and maps will be posted? I would like to print one out before leaving this Thursday to get an idea of the setup.

Also will have a golf cart.

Good question another Dennis. Evan as I type the jigsaw puzzle is coming together. One of the volunteers, (Jim D) in conjunction with Bobby Hill (my boss and a very forgiving and understanding man that never gets upset when I make a mistake. In fact he is almost Saint like in his ability to calmly put me back into the proper zone of universal proportionality.) are putting the lists and visuals together. These will be provided when the volunteers of the "Parking Team" come to the parking lot. We basically have five areas to park in and they will all have their own maps, I think. We also use traffic flow to reduce conflict. If you have a slide rule you can bring that and it will help with some of the angular problems. I won't get any of the paper work until I get to Elkhart. It's all very simple. I know because I learned it after only two years. See you soon. Thumbs up on the golf cart.

We always need help, on the "Parking Team", thanks Butch. I have always heard that Affinity does good work and hope yours is the same. I will caution you about coming in before the seventh. The campground is going to be a mess after the 650 sob's leave. I'm not sure if you will be able to get in, or if you will want to. Howsomever, the morning of the seventh would be great. I need your last name so I can get you on the list to give you a super secret priority entry allocation. Happy trails.

No I don't. That is usually one of the last things that is posted. I think they have a good idea for most of the sites but are waiting to see if anyone cancels or changes their plans. One small ripple can cause a wave. I think someone did cancel just the other day and they are trying to fill that one with a standby. I'm sure there are more I don't know about. Hang in there, You will be in a site somewhere.
