Hello from Camby, IN
Camby is SW Indianapolis, near the airport. Just picked up a new to me 2009 3665RE Anniversary Edition. Got a good deal on it (I hope) since it needs a couple of things, such as a refrigerator and tires.
I believe the tires on it are the originals because they have a date code of 2008. I plan on getting some Sailuns before taking it out on the road, hopefully in March.
I also plan on replacing the fridge with a residential model I found while searching for a replacement: a Frigidaire FFT1222QB soft-start and a 1000 or 2000 watt inverter.
Already upgraded to four 6v batteries. Which brings me to a question:
I have the new batteries in and can operate the slides, but cannot figure out how to operate the trailer on 12v. I bought the unit from a used car lot near me and it was hooked up to shore power and everything was working when I looked at it. Towed it to where I will be storing it, installed the new batteries and started exploring the trailer. All I could get to operate were the slides. No lights, no battery level indicator, tank levels, nothing. I looked around for a switch that I might have to engage but couldn't find one. The lot was no help, either. Can anyone tell me how to operate off of battery power?
Thanks,
Paul

Sounds like the batt disconnect switch may be off - have you checked the switch?

Agree, check the disconnect switch. Slides will operate when it is off.

Welcome to the fourm. The battery disconnect should be on the side wall of the convienence center and is confusing as to whether it's off or on.

DQDick-- did they have the convenient center on the 2009's? If not, the disconnect switch should be in the front storage compartment by the batteries. I don't remember if the convenient center was out yet on the 2009's.

Welcome to the forum. Looks like you have your job cut out for the winter. Suggest you do a thorough check on your roof and apply Dicor http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...nt-white/32125 wherever needed. Don't forget to check around the windows and other pieces of exterior trim and seal as required with Profelx https://www.geocelusa.com/product/pr...xible-sealant/ or similar sealant. Stay away from silicone.

In case it's not blatantly obvious, I am new to these campers. Only previous experience is with dad's little Jayco.
I thought there had to be a switch somewhere and was looking for it inside and in the battery compartment. Never even thought of a convenience center. It DOES have one and that's where I found the battery disconnect. I have battery power to the trailer, now. Thank you guys for pointing me in the right direction.
Have also found out that fuses tend to blow if not careful when retracting the landing gear. Now have an auto resetting 30 amp circuit breaker in it's place.
