Dometic refrigerator/freezer

Recently on my refer, one of the covers on the ambient switches broke off. I removed the wires and replaced the switch, now there is no power to the refer control panel? I replaced the 1 amp fuse, checked the hidden 30 amp reset switch, have 110 power, but still no sign of life on the control panel above? All coach fuses active.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be. Before trying to replace the switch, I did have power to the refer and it was cold, and freezer worked.
Any help will be appreciated, thank you.
Oh yes, the two ambient switches are located above the freezer door on the right side.
The Keystonereplacementswitch is $60 plus shipping, O’Rieley’s had the switch for $8.

If it worked prior to replacing I would have to suspect the switch or the installation? Can you provide more info, like the configuration of the switch? Single pole single throw? Momentary or latching? Are you sure the wires are connected correctly?
