Slide Weather Seals

On our last trip, noticed that the slide seals were wearing out. Has anyone replaced the slide weather seals? if so, what did it take to replace them? Where did you get the parts, etc.

There are 2 kinds of seals. One are just the spongy rubber things that compress when the slide is closed. I think you are probably talking about the 2-3 inch flaps that fold in or out as the slide moves.
If the flaps, they are easy to remove and replace, but you have to get on the roof or a ladder. It has been a while for me, but I think there is a screw at the top that goes thru the rubber to hold the seal up. Just remove this and the seal can slide out. Replacement is just the opposite.
I bought a long roll at the dealer and cut to the length I needed.

Amazon has many different styles and sizes. Here is the one I purchased for my 2006: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Think it is 35 foot length. Cut to fit.
As Tom said, it is a very easy replacement.

This is from the Trekwood site, https://www.trekwood.com/parts-searc...ry=Seal&page=1, shows all the possible seals for your rig.

On our rig, there are two seals for the slides that are on all our hydraulic slides,https://www.trekwood.com/products/44...lip-On-1225-Bx
and https://www.trekwood.com/products/44...k-Wall-1000-Bx
Both seals are fairly easy to replace, but you have to remove screws at various places to get the seals off, and then you reinstall the screws. You do not need to purchase from Trekwood, but the part numbers help identify which seals to search for on Amazon or other sites.

IF your Slide used the clip on wiper seals these are about the easiest to replace. Wife and I did these together.. needed her help to hold the old seal and new seal down on the ground side by side to cut the new seal length correctly..

One 35 foot roll will easily replace the horizontal and both vertical wiper seals on a large hydraulic slide

Time to accomplish - about 30 minutes for all 3 seals and that includes a sip or two of coffee..

Two videos I made showing you how simple this job is:
