So listening to the Corona Virus update I see Ford and Gm volonteered to help in building masks and other medical equipment we need like now. Where is Chrysler's contribution to this?

Ford and GM are not going to build the equipment they are going to support the builds for example there are parts for the Ford F150 can can be re purposed for the ventilators. It was noted for Ford to actually tool and get supply chains to actually build Ventilators it would take 6 months plus so these manufactures will be in support roles for the most part producing parts they can easily tool for.

If memory serves, Chrysler is no longer a US company.

I knew there was a reason I didn`t even look at them. Unlimited recalls some with no fixes and the rust issue. It doesn't make any difference if they are making devices or just helping supply parts to make them they both stepped up and volunteereed. Sounds eerily reminiscent of another time we had the population and major companies pitch in to help. I think it was in the `40`s.
I`ll never buy a Chrysler product.

The president had to reprimand GM for not behaving.
"They said they were going to give us 40,000 much needed ventilators, 'very quickly'. Now they are saying it will only be 6000, in late April, and they want top dollar."

Is it me or is this entirely political. More division to keep us at each other. Over stupid stuff. How is any of this helpful?
