Maintenance for: 7000 lb Dexter Gladiator® thick wall axles w/ upgraded springs
I’m looking for the manual so I can understand maintenance for the axles on my new 376FL. Keystone apparently doesn’t offer paper manuals anymore. That’s fine by me, except that I can’t get a straight answer on what axles I have and what the maintenance is for them. Keystone says I have:
7000 lb Dexter Gladiator® thick wall axles w/ upgraded springs & Nev-R-Adjust® brakes
That’s a copy and paste ^^.
But there is literally nothing out there about Gladiator branded Dexter axles except this link from Keystone:
https://www.keystonerv.com/keystone-life/montanas-exciting-2021-updates
Dexter never says Gladiator anywhere. I just want to know how to maintain these things. I have an email into the dealer, but based on my experience with them, I won’t learn much there.
Advice?

Cody,
Not sure if your HC has suspension bolts that can be lubed - if so lube them a couple times a year.
Check the brakes for wear once a year and pack your wheel bearings at the same time.
Recommend manually packing your bearings vice using the easy lube.

Cody-- Give Dexter Customer Service a call and ask them your question. They are another customer service that are quite responsive to any questions one might have concerning their products. You may have the new Dexter axle which is heavier in wall compared to those that have been on previous 7000# axles.

This is the manual for everything with the Dexter axles. I seriously doubt there is anything different with their 7,000 lb axles, they will have the same bearings and seals as well as the brakes, so you will use the 10-36 seals and the maintenance will be the same. Thicker tubing wall will have no effect on the spindles and hubs. http://www.dexterpartsonline.com/fil...e%20Manual.pdf

There should be a sticker on your axles, which tells what type they are.
