You can jackknife with any hitch, short or long bed, if your not paying attention. Of course it's much easier to do with a short bed. I've only seen one hitch and TV combo that couldn't jackknife, that was a WV beetle with a hitch mounted on its roof. Amusingly, the little Bug could do a complete 360 and not contact the 5er!
