Furnace blower

I was washing my 2016 3820FK when I was done I heard the furnace blower running. Went inside to check thermostat to see if I left it on it was off tried turning on and off did nothing. Went to power panel pulled the fuse fan stopped waited 30 sec. or more put fuse back fan came back on so I left it out going to look at today. Anyone have this problem. Maybe water got inside and messed something up.

Sounds like the water intrusion issue another noted in the past. Bet there is no sealant on the outside cover and water can migrate onto the circuit board.

Also, be sure your fan is set on auto.

I have a 2017 FB3820. A couple of weeks ago while draining the HWH, my furnance did the same exact thing. Seems the water ran over the cover and made its way inside and flooded the electronic fan board. The position of the board is terrible, it lays flat in a little box that doesn't drain to well. I pulled out the board and dried everything with a hair dryer. Then I filled the seam around the furnance with clear silicone, once fully cured I ran a razor through the middle of the silicone so I could still remove the cover pretty easily. Seamed to work, I haven't had the problem reoccur yet.

Used butyl tape on mine and haven't had water in there since.
