Question Shelving ?

Hello,

Does any one know of a source for shelving?

We would like to add some extra shelves to the pantry and kitchen cabinets in our 2020/21 Montana High country.

Thank You

Trekwood will have shelves or you could go through your dealer.

I built our own and stained to match. Home Depot/Lowes has a number of options.

We used these to gain space in the pantry and a couple other closets. Gives us the ability to move things around if we see the need without installing something permanent. https://www.amazon.com/ClosetMaid-34...0AES2XB2&psc=1

We also use the wire shelving in both our Monty's.

DQDick and rohrmann, The wire racks are a good idea. They may work very well for the kitchen cabs, But the wife worries about them bouncing around while traveling.

Iretired06, That is a possibility for the pantry. What material did you use?
(composite, particle board, osb, ply-wood, etc.)

rames14, I'll check out trekwood, but as for the dealer or mfg. "forgetaboutit"

We have the wire racks in both the cabinet with dishes and also the pantry with various food things, and haven't had any problem with things not staying put.

Thumbs up Wire Shelves Absolutely No Problem

The entry way closet in our 3400RL is equipped with wire shelves which add a great deal of storage capacity. We use simple bungee cords across the face of the shelves to hold things in place and have never had a problem.

Not really the same thing but we had one of our shelves fall due to overweight while traveling. It was particle board with a laminate covering it. I purchased some thin angle aluminum and lined both sides where the breaks were and no more problems. They are the adjustable type with the metal strips attached to the wall and the adjustable tabes. Good system but I would use plywood for strength and you can add what you want.

I had some left over wood in my shop so I just built shelves and color matched the coach.

I have also used the wire racks both inside and outside storage areas. I wouldn't use Trekwood except as a last resort!
