We have confirmed our time slot for Friday the 10th from 8-10. I know we will lose some of you to other vendor classes but I highly encourage one of you to stay for the whole fire class. We will be moving outside for the live timed demo fire thanks to Keystone loaning us an RV to use!

You can bring your current fire extinguisher to the class for examination. There will be a table provided to place them on while class is in session. Please mark them with your name and site number. There will be time after the presentation to speak with one of the three Goshen firefighters who will be with us.

The Goshen Fire Department has an employee who owns a fire extinguisher safety business. He is planning on taking his morning off work to be with us! His truck will be able to refill your expired or underpowered extinguishers (if possible due to the unit) and will also have brand new ones to purchase.

Remember to bring the extinguishers you want to be inspected labeled with your name and site number.

If you were given 20 seconds to collect everything you needed to recreate your immediate requirements (like ID and credit cards) after your rig was destroyed could you do it? In the real world, chances are your RV will burn to the ground before the Fire Department can arrive. Do you have a plan?

What if something happens during the trip and everybody (including pets) needs to exit the RV in a hurry? What if there is a fire? What if the entry door is blocked and you can’t get out. What’s the plan? Is there a plan? How old is your fire extinguisher? Does it even work?

Sounds easy but in practice not always a reality. Join the Goshen Fire Department as they will present to us an RV escape plan plus a mock timed simulation. And, a simulated RV on fire! They are also being very generous and offering time to examine your current extinguisher(s) to see if they meet the current codes and are charged properly. Open question and answer time will also be allowed.

Class is FREE however we need you to pre-register so we can adapt the number of instructors to the class size. Just add your name to this list.

Wow, this is going to be an awesome class. The news on it keeps getting better on how this emergency evac is going to go.

If you choose to refill or replace your extinguisher after the class, it will be on a cash-only basis. We do not have individual pricing as it all depends on what you want to be completed. Just a heads up, all rally event costs on-site will be in cash.
