Bedroom slideout

Hi, I am about to go on a trip and I put the bedroom slide out to load up. It won’t come in now. Motor is working and it moves an inch or so and then shuts off. Thoughts??? I have a 2022 3231ck.

Slideout movement

Ours did something similar after having the slideout frame flex fixed. It turned out screws in the Schwintek rails had backed out thus jamming the slide when it moved. I would also check your controller to see if it is giving you a error.

If I understand it if you do not have controller errors then the motors and cables should be fine. It sounds like something is jamming it maybe a screw or something under the rail such as a shoe. You try putting the controller in override mode

The dreaded Schwintek failure. Lots of info on the subject here.

Shaw918,
Hope you were able to figure it out! Our Schwintek bedroom slide broke just before thanksgiving. The rail system actually was installed twisted. Took until about three weeks ago to get the parts in to fix it. The service guy said it’s been an issue with Schwintek and they have replaced about 1000 motors/systems.

Now the two front slides are both Schwintek and they now have to be replaced. One the motor has a screw sticking out of it so it is actually screwing itself to the RV. The other, the one motor is just not turning. The tech tried to show us his way of working it in/out but we said screw it and just reset the motor when we run it. We are still waiting for the parts to come in to replace them. The tech said he has never had to repair three Schwinteks on one rig. We have a 2023 337FL.

Thanks for the reply. It turned out to be the right motor wire was corroded. Fixed and back on the road. Apparently it is not an uncommon problem
