No AC with Generator
We cannot get AC to come on will running Generator. We have a 2022 3121RL, Inverter showing Status: Amber, Display: Green, 12.3 volts. Have a CSW2012HX pure sine wave inverter.Thanks

Did you put your air in off mode then turn your air on 1 at a time, what size is the air?

13 in front and 15 in rear I believe. Yes tried turning on again and also checked breaker

Just realized no Power to outlets, except solar outlets go I switch in bathroom ok.

Your inverter has nothing to do with the AC. Your AC will only run on gen or shore power. If it's not running check your breaker, thermostat or the unit itself.
Correction, I do recall an option for a second inverter prep for the AC unit. But the AC should still work on gen and shore regardless.

AC works great on Shore power. So I assume no issues with AC unit, therm or breaker. But thank you very much for trying to help

The 12.3V display on the inverter tells me the converter is not charging the batteries. The converter uses 120V power so it sounds like the generator is not passing power into the RV>

There was a bad batch of transfer switches.
I believe Progressive Dynamics issued a recall on them.
If that's what you determine it is, call their help desk. They will ship you a new one.

It’s a 2022, so it has a Southwire ATS. The problem last year was the PD ATS. It’s under warranty, your dealer should have caught that in the PDI. Your ATS doubles as an EMS, so if you have an open ground, low voltage, high voltage, open neutral, etc it will not let power through. It could be wires crossed at the ATS, a loose wire, etc. I would start with Rip’s suggestion. Also, with factory installed Solar you would benefit from our Montana Solar Flex Facebook page. Keep us updated on your progress.

Do you have a Bonded plug for the genny?
A bonded plug ties the neutral and ground together.
Usually an EMS will indicate an open ground and not allow power to pass.

Thanks everyone for all you assistance. We do have an onboard Onan Generator. Sorry have not replied to all. After talking with our Dealer and since under warranty, we took Monty in. They are running diagnostic test. At this point 1 thing they have told us was a ground wire and this was causing the Surge Guard to do its job, As it was supposed to by not allowing power to AC, etc. Thanks again. We appreciate this Forum.
