Kitchen Ceiling Light Repair

One of the kitchen lights, hanging over the island has stripped its threads and keeps coming loose while traveling. Is there an oversized decorative bolt that can be used? Some compound to fill the hole so it can be rethreaded? Or must I replace the fixture?

Have you tried adding some thread lock to see if it will stay?

When mine broke, I looked all over for a replacement or parts. Eventually I used a 1/4" bolt and spray painted the bolt/nut with a very close matching spray can (rubbed bronze as I recall). Being up next to the ceiling, no one will see it and even if they do it blends in so well they can't tell.
