Angel Fire to Taos, NM

Has anyone taken NM State Highway 64 from Angel Fire, NM to Taos, NM? Any issues with a 40' fifth wheel?

I've taken that route many times. The last though was about 4 years ago and not with a trailer in tow. Not a bad road, some twisties but not enough for worry that I recall. There are some grades but there are grades all through that "enchanted circle" from Taos/Angel Fire/Eagles Nest/Red River.

I took 64 from Chama thru Taos to Cimarron. No problem for me. If my memory is right, there is a stretch that is along a river(?) near Angel fire that is slower - 45 mph or so because of curves.

We were camp hosts at Eagle Nest Lake State Park a couple of summers ago. We never drove that section with our monty. We drove to Taos once a week to buy groceries. 18 wheelers drove it all the time. You should be OK.
