Look in the files section for RV Furnace troubleshooting. PDF.

IF your Furnace blows cold air for a few seconds then quits, sounds like a sail switch.

Following the troubleshooting steps.

You need to be outside and listen for the igniter clicking while someone turns on the Furnace.
Also smell for propane near the exhaust.

Each of these is a clue that points you where to start troubleshooting.

Also, there is a red blinking light on the circuit board that blinks a code to tell you what is wrong.
The blink code is on a label nearby.

A very simple check is to swap the self resetting black 15A fuse with a regular blue 15A fuse.
The resetting fuses tend to be problematic.

2022 Montana Heat Problem

I have a new, (Oct 22) 2022 Montana 3781RL that the furnace will not light in. I have checked all of the obvious, fuse, gas, ect. The fan cycles but it will not light. It has previously worked to perfection. Now that it is 20 degrees out, it quit lighting. I have even turned the hot water heater over to gas to make sure that the regulator is not frozen. The fan cycles, but will not light. Any suggestions?

Since you have an outside access panel directly to the front of the furnace your TS is super easy. If the blower runs but you hear NO popping sound from ignitor and dont smell a whiff of propane then check the sail switch.

It makes continuity to the entire circuit after the blower runs.. If sail switch has some lint, dog hair etc on the outside it will prevent the paddle arm from moving enough to push the plastic detent switch in to allow the switch contacts to complete the circuit.

Also right on that furnace circuit board is a RED LED that will flash the trouble code..
If you are lucky and its just a dirty switch its a five minute fix.
