New Montana

We ordered a 23 3761FL today. Trading in a Grand Design Reflection 315RLTS travel trailer which was our first RV. We had a nice setup with a F250 diesel and a Hensley hitch.

We wanted to upgrade to a fifth wheel as we typically do a lot of miles and wanted more room. After 2 years we really found out what we wanted. I think we did over 12,000 miles.

While we have been trying to find a new truck for months we looked at everything. Came down to the Montana and a Solitude. Solitude was just lacking in many areas.

We do have a F350 on order but it may be a year before that gets built. We found a 23 Chevrolet 3500 HD High County dually that someone ordered but didn’t pickup. Never thought I would get a GM truck but it’s really good.

Anyways, glad to be here.

Welcome to the forums. Congrats on your new Montana AND your new truck. Um, ... I'm not biased in the least little bit! but I think you selected a good truck to pull that trailer!

Welcome to the MOC. We have the same rig but a 2021 and a 2019 F350 diesel dually. We are very happy with it, just be careful it has MUCH storage. We were overweight initially which was easy to do, like i said if you fill the basement, it will be heavy! We did many upgrades to ours because we are fulltime now. But i think you will like it very much.
