New truck, so need a new hitch. Recommendations?

I’ve been pulling my 2009 Montana 3150 with a 2008 Chevy 2500 HD short bed for 11 years. I never put myself in a position where I make radical turns so I’ve never felt the need for a slider.

I am taking delivery tomorrow on a new Chevy 2500HD short bed with the puck system. I’m trying to decide between the B & W Companion and the Curt 20.
Both have a 20K towing capacity. The dry weight on my trailer is just under 12,000.

Any I over doing it?
Is one brand just as good as the other. The Curt is a couple of hundred dollars less?
Since I have the same trailer with no intention of trading it in is there any reason I need to consider a slider after not needing one for a decade?
