I never had the center support fall down but I did notice I slight sag in it do to the amount of clothes my wife takes along. What I did was braced the center with 1 1/2” PVC pipe from the bottom of the hanging rod to the floor. On the top of the pipe, I cut a pvc T fitting so it is open and cradles the hanging rod. On the bottom I clamp a rubber end cap on like a foot so the pipe doesn’t kick out or damage the floor. I then painted the pvc a mocha brown to make it look a little more like it belongs there
