3790RD Generator transfer switch ?

I just picked up this unit and as far as I can tell it doesn't have the transfer switch in it.

I have a Victron inverter going in and was hoping to find a junction box somewhere to grab power from the rear plug and before the fuse panel.

Any help locating the main power from the shore power would be great.

Mine is a 2019 model. If you have the Gen Prep, the transfer switch would be located behind the basement wall under the stairs to the bedroom/bathroom area. If there isn't a transfer switch, you can put a junction box in that area. I plan on doing the same and running a second shore power outlet in the front off one side of the pin box so I can run the generator in the back of my truck while travelling.

I have looked in the area for some sort of a J box. Or even an 8G wire. At this point I am going to say that the trailer doesn't have the generator prep package.

I think if you had the Gen Prep, there would be a tray and some wiring in the front compartment for the Onan generator also, so if that isn't there, then you likely do not have the prep or the transfer switch.

That is what I am discovering is that there is no wiring. I am hoping that someone can at least point me in the direction of what I am looking for as far as the main power wire in from shore power looks like

Oh, I gotcha ya.
Try tracing the incoming power from your converter/breaker panel box back to the incoming shore power outlet. Your converter, if it's the same as mine, should be in the same area. My guess is that the shore power wiring will run back to the inlet on the ODS side of the rig. There's likely very little slack in that wire, but it should be easily identified by its size. It should come into the converter panel/breaker box and head off in the direction of your shore power connection.

To all...

I found it. the 8/3 w G in the middle of all the other wires.

For others.
On mine it ran down the passenger side of the trailer. It is black and about 3/4" in diameter. If you are careful, there is enough slack in the area to pull it out and cut it. You can the splice in whatever you are doing in a code compliant way.

For me I ran the legs to the front compartment where the inverter/charger will be located.
