Fantastic. Jeff Fryer, are you keeping score? I know a good loan shark if you need to bring in that semi of food.

I'm thinking it may be a good idea to bring your own bowl and spoon for this chili fest. This thing is getting bigger by the day. Has Anna started editing your emails yet, Jeff? What's next, hosting the winter Olympics?

Hey Woody - "He robbed a village of a perfectly good idiot"! That's priceless! I am looking forward to being a part of your "priceless" team! See you on Tuesday, about 2pm.

No bowls or spoons required. Anna and I picked up a bunch of paper bowls and plastic spoons yesterday. Just bring your drinks of choice and a chair. Oh and any dessert if anyone wants. The menu is Chili (not spicy but flavorful), corn bread, Fritos, Corn chips, Salsa, with garnishes of onions, jalapenos, cheese, sour cream and of course hot sauces if you like a bit more kick.

Jeff

Any word on the space assignments? Were over in Shipshawana South checking out all the sights. We found the Hwy 20 in Lagrange was closed yesterday, had to divert around on county roads for anyone else coming in that way.

Not yet. I think they're waiting for NORAD to provide the aerial reconnaissance. Thanks for the heads up on 20.

NORAD has given a chili update...15 lbs of ground beef browned, 16 onions diced and the batches are about to commence...As Chief Brody said."we're gonna need a bigger boat," Anna has pointed out, "we're gonna need a bigger pot." Or maybe 3 honey....just sayin.

I could have used this info a couple hours ago before I sent Mrs. Fryer up to the office to arrange a later departure from Elkhart Campground. What time are you rolling in Captain O' Captain?

Okay, only those who were scheduled to arrive on the fifth may come in on the fifth. The following in no particular order have a site for the night of the fifth. These are volunteers picked by order of date of signing up.

ME
Lynch
Moore
Parsons
Fryer
Graves
Simpson
Sauer
Harrison
Doege
Heflin
Uhler
Kohl
Richman

Everyone else can come in on the days they have signed up for. I wish we could accommodate more but this is all we got.

Starting at about 0900 on the fifth I will be incommunicado. We will be driving north, in the slow lane listening to my old 60's and 70's music. I will have my phone but it may not be on. In the words of Joe Walsh, "Just leave a message, maybe I'll call". Everyone drive safe and we'll see you in Goshen.

Dumb question probably but what's my early arrival parking procedure? Check in with the office and just park in my assigned spot keeping the slide within the white line.

For those arriving on the fifth. There's another detail that I might have shared. There is no need to stop at the office. To get to the 400 loop, go through the main gate and turn right, turn right again at the end of the street. You are now in the 400 loop. The sites will NOT be painted. There is a well defined area for parking on. The only problem may be if you push too deep into the site thus encroaching on the site behind you (for those that may have a site behind them). All the sites are angled. You'll just have to get lucky to go in the right direction initially. Last years rally book has the correct depiction of the sites. If you haven't been in the 400 loop before you can always delay setup until another rig pulls in that can verify your location.

The Richman's are actually in site 455. They will identify as 218 but we really know they are 455.
