One final attempt at this thread. If anyone comes in after hours or with no one in the parking lot, please call me at 812-290-5433. If I don't answer, leave a message. I sometimes don't answer because of all the spam I get. I may or may not have a golf cart so we may have to do it old school with a pedal bike. I'll just need to locate my vest and hat. You know, to make it official. Drive safe. See you all real soon.

The weather at this time is not looking all that good for the parking days. There may be times when the rain and or thunderstorms prevent the "Parking Team" from doing their jobs. If this happens, please be patient and hunker down in the parking lot until we can get things up and running. We are at the mercy of the weather channel and will do the best we can. Maybe we'll get lucky.

Road Closure Alert

We just had a report that Indiana 20 is closed by Lagrange, Indiana, just southeast of Shipshawana (due east of Goshen). Please plan accordingly.

20 is not closed!

We just came from 69 from the north and took 20 heading to Shipshewana. It was not closed but one way traffic in one spot. Only took a couple minutes to get past it.

Uh..... Y'all can probably blame Wednesday's rain on us.....

For those with drought conditions at home base....
For the not so small price of diesel fuel, I betcha I can make it rain! Step back non believers!

Had not rained in weeks on end at home. Got out water hose, scrub brush and pale of soapy water to give the MHC some freshening up Sunday evening. Before I finished side #1 it started raining, and I mean HUGE raindrops! Hey - fresh rinse water - right?

Made it ⅔ of the way to West Memphis Arkansas before we hit - you guessed it, rain again. Then overnight it rained buckets full. Thought - free rinse water - right? Grumbled to DW that we would probably hit rain again headed north today. "Probably only light sprinkles if any rain at all" mused the DW. Upper half of Arkansas, half of Missouri and some in Illinois, yup you guessed it. Buckets full of rain in places.

Were it not for dry skies when time to set up camp for the night, we'd likely be sprouting web feet by now! The DW quite literally co-piloted us into the middle of huge cornfields somewhere in south central Indiana now at the most quaint campground I've ever seen. Suffice it to say we will most likely bring the soggieness with us tomorrow morning. Not to worry Woody - the reflective safety vest will still fit nicely over a poncho..... See you folks in the morning

Every rig is escorted to your assigned site. Usually 2 people watching and helping guide into proper position.

You all heard it. The rain is on Lee. Never sell a gift short. Lee, you just need the right marketing team. You could make buckets. And sell them to collect rain water.

It looks like we had a stellar arrival process. 99 percent success rate. For the one percent we appreciate your patience and forgiveness. If the process was easy we'd be bored and stay home.

Now that we're all mostly here it's time to enjoy yourselves. Try not to eat too much and drink too little. oops, I'm already zero for two. Something else to work on I guess. Enjoy and remember, Mother MOC wants you for next years "Parking Team". (picture of old guy with beard, pointing, placed here)
