New carpet

Ok so I bought a poorly cared for mountaineer a couple months ago. So there are a lot of upgrades I am doing.
So I will show you before and after pictures.

So the carpet I got was pecan bark from Home Depot. It has lifetime warranty for stains including pet guard so urine stains are included in the warranty. It also has a 25 year warranty for wear. I got the pet guard padding as well. I really love it. I still need to replace the piece that goes under the table and couch. Anyway here are some pics.
Yes the old carpet they raises a puppy in there and he ate holes in the carpet and it was stained and stank horribly. It was what I hated most about the trailer.

I absolutely love the new carpet and pad. Slide out close easily. Looks fantastic. Still working on projects so will be adding more

That came out great!
Carpets are the next big thing we are looking to get rid of in ours. How much of a pain was it to do? My wife wants to put down laminate hardwood instead of carpet, but i have no idea how well that will work ?

Well I didn't get rid of mine I replaced it. I thought about getting rid of it. The one thing to be mindful of is on slide outs the slide outs glide on the carpet. Make sure you take that into account or you could have scuffs and scrapes on the new flooring. It also depends on the slide outs, mine tip up and come in and then come down but a friends doesn't it slides right on the carpet.
There are lots of people that go with laminate instead of carpet. I only have carpet in the bedrooms and along the one side the main room for the slide out to glide on.

Thank you. Yeah I picked it out and supervised the install. But I agree. The color choice looks so much better than factory and goes with the Rv better. And it has a 25 year warranty for wear and lifetime against all stains including pet stains. Love it
