Bicycle Covers

Ok Guys, Here's a question we have not covered yet.

I am planning on getting two e bikes soon and also plan on carrying them on my bike rack on the back of the Montana. I found that e bikes, their controllers, and motors do not like water or moisture. Does anyone now use or know of a cover that will protect the two bikes from rain while traveling? How durable are they? it is pretty windy on the back of the Montana.

I'm thinking the wind will cause the most damage while traveling. I suppose using straps and bungees will reduce the buffeting but also cause rubbing and damage to the bikes.

Open to suggestions, recommendations etc.

Brian

My first concern would be the strength of the hitch and bike rack and the weight of the bikes. I been behind trailers with bikes on the rear riding fine. And I have been behind some with the bikes bouncing pretty violently.

Thanks for the warning but we already carry two mountain bikes on the Hollywood rack without any issues. The ebikes are only 20 lbs more and do not exceed the hitch or carrier.

Good. I am monitoring this thread for cover info. We carry bikes on a pin box mount and are directly in the path of flying bugs.

I cover mine with large rectangular grill covers.
