Locked out!
Here's a new one! This morning I had to leave by 0630 to get the truck serviced. When I left, Cynthia and the dogs were still in bed, so I locked both locks on the door. When Cynthia got up and headed out with one of the dogs, she unlocked the door from the inside and went out and closed the door.
Well....if you lock the deadbolt from the outside, it has to be unlocked from the outside. Now, she is outside in her pjs with a dog and can't get back in! Naturally, her keys and her cellphone are on the inside. The bedroom window (fire escape) was open, so she got the 5' step ladder, popped out the screen, and hoisted herself in. Now, it didn't happen on the first hoist. Then she got the upper body through along with one leg, and she is at a stand still. The other leg doesn't want to come in! So, she's tugging on the pj leg to get the leg to follow, and she's hanging there with one leg kicking in the breeze.
She finally pulled herself in and slid to the floor. The fronts of both thighs are black and blue. And nobody saw it! And some how, it's my fault!
The point for all to know is if the door is locked from the outside, it has to be unlocked from the outside! Take your keys!!!
